Description:

 

Tested by the authoritative institution, the mechanical performance of pultrusion FRP structural used in cooling tower could meet or exceed the requirement stipulated in national standards and codes.

The structure of cooling tower is designed by specific design software according to the actual requirements for the wind load, seism and othe loadings to ensure the reliability of cooling tower. Because FRP cooling tower is with the flexible structure, it is better to afford the seism even in the mostly occurred areas of typhoon and seism. (Through the structure checking and resonance analysis by the finite element analysis software of Tongji University, the wind load of our FRP cooling tower in Taiwan could reach at 230kg/m2 and the design seism could reach at 0.5G minimum)

The FRP structure is used for the cooling tower frame structure. The structure including enclosure casing, fan deck and partitions shall be of FRP structure.

The uniformity of water distribution and the lower resistance of air are adequately considered while designing of the cross-section of beam and column to assure the strength and stability of tower.
